2019 Longford Tri Aquathon Results
The Longford Tri 2019 Aquathlon, as part of the Midlands Series, will take place on Wednesday the 19th of June starting from Tarmonbarry on the Longford/Roscommon boarder. Tarmonbarry is on the main N5 and is 10km west of longford town.
Registration for the event is on the night.
Race fee €15
A valid Triathlon Ireland membership card must be presented at registration.
A race licence is required to compete in this event. One day licences can be purchased in advance through Triathlon Ireland or at registration on the night for €10. Please note Triathlon Ireland allow race licences to be purchased at Aquathon's only. If you are a relay team only one member of the team needs to have a race licence.

Swim route and Run will be as per the Tarmonator Triathlon course. Please refer to the Triathlon race page for course maps.
- The swim route is a 750 meter and 200 meter Try a Tri triangular course in the Shannon river (Try a Try entrants will start 10 min after main course). Water entry is at the slipway below the Tarmonbarry lock.
- The Run is a 5km route along Tarmon Harbour housing estate on estate footpath. Then across the N5 Shannon bridge and taking a right turn in the direction of Clondra village. A turn around cone will be positioned on the road past Clondra village 50 meters short of re-entering back onto the N5. From this turnaround cone it is back to Tarmonbarry N5 Shannon Bridge, crossing the N5 Shannon Bridge and a quick left and using pedestrian laneway to the finish line at Tarmonbarry lock.
