This event offers participants a great opportunity to bring together the BIKE and RUN disciplines in one training event and to practice the transition between each discipline in a friendly supported environment.

- Run 1: 3.94km / Bike: 13.9km / Run2: 2.47km

This is a training event and is a great opportunity to anyone considering triathlon to get a taste of a multi discipline event.
A Triathlon Ireland (TI) race license is NOT required to take part, but participants will need to Sign-in on the day as Guests with our Club.

Race parking and start will be in the car park of Nolan's Motors.
Refreshments are provided afterwards.
The race briefing takes place beside the transitions area approx 20mins before race start. Attendance is compulsory.
Longford Triathlon Club is committed to providing a drug-free environment at our race. As such, we support and follow the Irish Sports Council’s protocols on anti-doping. Anti-doping testing is part of the ISC’s National Anti-Doping Programme that acts to protect Ireland’s sporting integrity against the threat of doping.
RUN 1: Starting at Nolan’s Garage and heading away from Newtown, Keep on the L1004 till the end of the road. Turn LEFT on the L5003 and then take the first LEFT. Continue on this road straight till you will then turn back on the L1004 heading towards Nolan’s garage.
BIKE: Starting at Nolan’s Garage and heading away from Newtown, Keep on the L1004 following the road till you reach a fork in the road at Fihoges. Take the right-hand fork and continue on the road till you reach Kilmore Lower, turning left onto the N5. Follow the N5 till the you reach a roundabout and take the 1st exit onto the N5. Follow the N5 passing the fiddle monument and continue till you reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exist on the N4 and continue on this till you come towards Newtownforbes. Take the first exit left before entering Newtownforbes towards the GAA grounds (L1004). Continue back to Nolan's Motors following this road and take the right-hand road at the fork.

RUN 2: Starting at Nolan’s Garage and heading away from Newtown, Keep on the L1004. Take the first LEFT, turning onto the L5004. Continue on this road and then take the next LEFT. Continue on this road straight till you will then turn back on the L1004 heading towards Nolan’s garage.
